The International Association of Torch Clubs (IATC) International Conventions will be held from June 11 to 14 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is time to lock in your seat for what is sure to be an enjoyable weekend with your Torch Club friends.
IATC President Art Bloom has reached out to club officers describing this upcoming event. This information is being shared below for all club members interested in attending.
WHY THIS CONVENTION IS DIFFERENT
- Historic Headquarters: Our home base will be the Historic Brookstown Inn, a beautifully restored textile mill just blocks from Old Salem and downtown.
- Fresh Dining Experience: Thursday evening will feature small-group dinners at outstanding Winston-Salem restaurants, creating space for meaningful conversation and connection across clubs.
- Signature Celebrations: Friday Evening: Awards Dinner at Forsyth Country Club
- Saturday Evening: Closing celebratory dinner together at the Brookstown Inn Ballroom
- Outstanding Concurrent Presentations: Select from concurrent presentations led by Torch members on topics ranging from entertainment and history to politics, personal finance, and tax strategies —demonstrating the impressive breadth of talent across Torch.
- Leadership Development & Club Growth Seminars: Practical sessions designed specifically for club leaders and officers will focus on: (1) Recruitment and membership growth, (2) Club operations and sustainability, (3) Marketing and communications, and (4) Leadership development for the next generation.
- City of Arts & Innovation: Optional tours will highlight Winston-Salem’s historic sites, cultural institutions, and creative energy.
- Welcoming for All: Activities for spouses and non-Torch guests will be offered during meeting and seminar times so everyone feels included and engaged.
- Simple Registration: IATC will manage convention finances directly. Registration will be streamlined, with payment options by credit card, check, or Zelle.
