The Torch Club of Williamsburg started its new season with an enlivening discussion led by member Mike Mason who presented on “Never a Tumbleweed: Living a Life with Exuberance.”

Mike Mason discussed the lessons he learned from his family, friends, and career over the years. He served with the Marines, was a senior official with the FBI, and worked as an executive at a Fortune 500 Company before moving onto new challenges, including his time as a school bus driver. He distilled his experiences into motivational stories, making it clear that it is important to keep growing and learning, whatever your age.

You can learn more about Mike Mason’s experiences driving a school bus in this video from CBS News titled “There are No Unimportant Jobs”: This Retired FBI Boss Became a School Bus Driver Amid Shortage.
