Last weekend’s International Association of Torch Club’s (IATC) 100 Anniversary Convention in Richmond, Virginia was a great success. The IATC reports that 95 Torch members and their guests, representing 29 clubs, attended the convention.

The IATC has set up a webpage that summarizes the convention and highlights one of the presentations titled “Igniting the Touch of Tomorrow.” The presentation discusses trends among current Torch members and notes ways to expand clubs in the future, which includes attracting young members. You can also find a news article on the convention from the Richmond Dispatch.

You may have missed the convention, but monthly meetings of the Williamsburg Torch Club start up again in September. Please consider joining us.
